Learning to change.

The video Learning to change, changing to learn is mainly about teachers who are talking about the difference in school now than when they were growing up. Technology is connecting students to the rest of the world. More and more students are using technology.
Around the world education is changing to fit the use of technology less and less students actually need to go to a physical classroom because they have internet and other methods now of communicating. The world is being revolutionized by each now discovery. Teachers often have multiple perspectives on this situation. I personally think that classrooms are by far the best place to learn. Interaction is one of the key tools in learning, I believe that humans were created to interact and the best way of learning is to communicate. Granted with today's technology there are simpler methods.

Google Docs

I believe that shared knowledge is so important. The amazing thing about Google docs is that they allow people from all over the world to share with each other what they are learning. It is not like something has to be emailed back and forth. The information you need is all right there at your finger tips. The process of Google docs is not complicated at all, if you cannot understand the simplicity of the program then there are plenty of tips and advice that you can use. This is a great tool for teachers because it allows them to follow their students' writings. It is fascinating to see how students will work together on editing papers, or just sharing knowledge.
Similar to the old fashioned way of exchanging papers, Google docs allows freedoms for self expression in all forms of writings.

Technology

1. Name five reasons young people want to use technology.
~Young people want to use technology because it enhance their access things they are interested in learning
~Allows them to express their creativity.
~Connect with people throughout the world.
~Is a stressful outlet
~ Enhances ways of learning
2. Did you identify with any of the young people in the clip? Why?
~There are times when I identify with the young people in the clip. Technology is such a critical part of today's society however in my opinion it takes away from truly getting to know people when that is your only mode of communication. However the technology eases the every day life.

3. Do you agree that having instant access to everything via the internet helps you to know yourself better? Why or why not?
~ I believe that knowing what you like and learning skills of what you like to do can be helped with the Internet but I don not think that it helps you know yourself personally, how you work and how you connect with people which is a large part of who you are cannot be determined by the Internet.

4. Do you agree that technology helps pave the way to move forward as a civilization? Why or why not?
~I believe that technology is part of our civilization and it is progressing with us but I believe we could move on without it we would just have to adapt to the old ways of life.
